Gifts that keep on giving

When was the last time you got a random gift from someone? ⁠⁠🎁💌

⁠It feels good doesn’t it? 👍⁠

⁠For INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY this year 🌎👩👩🏻👩🏽‍🦱👩🏿‍🦳👩🏼‍🦰 📅⁠ we thought we'd take a look at what our very own GATEWAY WOMEN’S CENTRE is doing to celebrate women in our local community.⁠

⁠Over the past few years they have celebrated this day in a number of different ways: ⁠

🎀 putting on a craft stall, ⁠

🎲 having a quiz and games afternoon, ⁠

✂️ making hand-made goodies together,⁠

🧁 sharing yummy cakes! ⁠

⁠

This year although they can’t meet together because of Covid, they will be sending gifts out in the post instead 📮💌⁠

⁠Supporters and volunteers at Gateway have donated time, skills, gifts and money to make up 97 gift bags FULL of treats that will be sent out to the women they support 🎁🎁🎁⁠

⁠Kate (Gateway Staff Member) says, “Our hope is that these gifts will remind the women who receive them that they are unique, special and loved.” 💕⁠

⁠What an amazing way to bless women in our community!
